so i hop from job to job just to get along
i even took some jobs on a dare
i'd show up late in my underwear
and then i'd quit, run home, and add it to the list in this song

i've worked a soundboard

inboard

jackhammer

weed whacker
paint roller
leaf blower
spackle knife
a hammer
and a muddy bank

i've worked in car sales
door guy
copy boy
graphic design
a snow movin
leaf rakin
flyer handin
street playin
rockstar
carpenter
comedian
and unemployed (you get paid for that too?!)

i've been a tree trimmin
baby sittin
telemarket
ticket takin
character at theme parks
Prince John
Brer Fox
Safari guy
toy demonstrator
oysterman
and i even wrote obituaries for a while
i've also been a bartender
and i've managed a new york city nightclub (sounds nice?)
no
so if you think you hate your job
think of how i must've hated some of these
don't quit your job or the world might stop
